The Hyacinth Scarlett Foundation Inc. is so proud of our recent work in collaboration with the Jamaica Nurses Association of Florida, Inc., awarding scholarships to deserving recipients. We would like to thank you for being a part of our community!
As part of our mission to continue Hyacinth’s legacy through charitable programs that sustain her lifelong commitment to underserved communities, particularly in the advancement of music and health education, we need your help to continue our work.
Past campaigns have enabled us to provide much needed items to families including food, socks, t-shirts, and undergarments in collaboration with the Salvation Army locally and in Jamaica. We have also had the opportunity to provide scholarships to students studying at the University of Technology in Jamaica with the Jamaica Nurses Association of Florida as well as travel grants for pediatric patients with sickle cell disease who are traveling for life saving treatment in the United States. As a non-profit organization, we completely rely on community support. None of our efforts would be possible without the help of donors, volunteers, and supportive community members like you.
