Through gifts and grants from our generous donors,
our Foundation invests in the success of college students.

Supporting Change, Growth, and Sustainability

The Hyacinth Scarlett Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization committed to serving communities. 100% of all proceeds go to our charitable programs helping individuals and families in need.

Underserved Communities

With the demand for health care steadily rising, underserved populations need more help than ever before. “Underserved,” by its literal definition, implies a decreased level of service or access to health care. Individuals who are underserved face systemic and institutional barriers which prevent them from accessing services and/or receiving the same quality of services as people not facing such barriers. Working towards improved equity and decreasing disparities in communities, our Foundation is taking aim at such issues.

Music Education

Education happens within the context of a larger community. Our Foundation’s approach in the area of music education extends beyond the school to help ensure students have the necessary support to do their best learning.

Health Education

One person at a time, one day at a time, and one project at a time, you can make a difference that will leave a lasting impact on the world. Our scholarship program embraces the needs of college students majoring in nursing, music, or a related field. From providing financial support during training to support with additional resources available for students, our Foundation assists students in continuing their engaging studies successfully.

“I can’t express how grateful I am for the Hyacinth Scarlett Scholarship! I am really in need of the help because I have to be fighting so hard along each day in school as I lost my mom and I took the courage to go to school regardless to fulfill the dream she worked so hard for. I will continue to lift up music in my community with the help of my church youth department.”
