Summer Music Program

Three children playing melodicas, a boy on the left with a white melodica and closed eyes, a girl in the middle with glasses and a black melodica, and a girl on the right with a pink melodica, all holding the instruments to their mouths.

Interested in having your child or teen learn how to play a musical instrument this school year from the comfort of your home?

Join us for our annual Summer Virtual Music and Arts Workshop!

Students learn from professional musicians music education and appreciation regarding the history of this unique woodwind. The instrument is a handheld free-reed similar to a pump organ or harmonica which also features a musical keyboard on top, and is played by blowing air through a mouthpiece that fits into a hole on the side of the instrument. Melodicas are small, lightweight, portable and many are designed for children to play!

Cost: $68 (this includes the Melodica instrument shipped directly to you); $50 if you already have a Melodica

Rock of Salvation
Music Scholars Program

For the director of music. For Jeduthun. A psalm of David. “Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from Him. Truly He is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress, I will never be shaken.”

—Psalm 62: 1-2 (NIV)

One of our Foundation’s new initiatives is our “Rock of Salvation Music Scholars Program.” During this week long summer music education program, campers engage with a community of educators and artists each day exposing them to foundations of musical form, theory, various instruments, and styles of music free of charge. At the end of camp, students have the opportunity to perform what they have learned and receive a certificate. This initiative is coming soon! Stay tuned!
